The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The associate must maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week; the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business or client needs. The job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks performed; additional job‑related tasks may be assigned by management.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical demands: The associate will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory responsibilities: None.
Work environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical appearance: Ensure a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed professional appearance. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
Language skills: English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
