Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire, and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, ensuring product prep, training and top-tier service for Club members. You will liaise with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, and participate in grand openings for new locations.

CDS is the in-house event marketing partner for Costco, offering strong benefits and opportunities, including advancement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise part-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation.
• Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service.
• Communicate between managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.
• Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products.
