Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking a Full Time Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, oversee product prep and presentation, and train teams for superb service to Club members. You will coordinate with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, including involvement in new location grand openings.

CDS is Costco's preferred in-house event marketing partner, delivering best-in-class marketing services and sales activation across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments.
• Detail oriented with leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams.
• Able to coach and counsel employees.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and hire part-time staff.
• Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety.
• Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer services.
• Communicate between multiple managers, vendors and demonstrators.
• Participate in new location grand openings as required.
