Job summary

GCG is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist to maintain and improve product master data across ERP, CRM, and related platforms. You will manage part numbers, categories, descriptions, cross-references, vendors, and units of measure while partnering with Product Management and other teams to resolve data issues and establish standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with data quality, master data, or product information tasks.
• Strong detail orientation to identify inconsistencies and gaps.
• Advanced Excel skills for organizing and validating data.
• Foundational SQL and Power BI knowledge.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools to improve data management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve product master data across ERP/CRM systems.
• Create and maintain new product records ensuring completeness.
• Review data for accuracy and fix inconsistencies.
• Conduct regular data quality checks and audits.
• Handle day-to-day product data requests and governance.
• Support NPI initiatives with data collection and setup.
• Coordinate updates with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define data structures and improve reporting consistency.
• Help implement product data governance policies.
• Contribute to standardization of categorization and attributes.
• Investigate data issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Participate in cross-functional data consolidation projects.
• Work with teams when product data changes impact multiple systems.
• Use Excel and tools to analyze large datasets and support cleanup.
