Job summary

Allied Wire & Cable (AWC) is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist to maintain master data across ERP, CRM, and related systems. You will coordinate new product records, ensure data accuracy, and support governance initiatives with IT and multiple business teams.

The role focuses on data quality, standardization, and enabling reliable reporting, with a hybrid work arrangement after an initial in-office training period.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with product master data, ERP or CRM data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in large data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills to organize, analyze, and validate data efficiently.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
• Interest in using AI-enabled tools to improve data management.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product master data across ERP, CRM, and related systems.
• Create and maintain new product records, ensuring complete data before use.
• Review information for accuracy and consistency; correct issues as needed.
• Perform regular data quality checks and audits to identify anomalies.
• Lead day-to-day data requests and support NPIs with data coordination.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to improve data structures.
• Support data governance policies and standardization efforts.
• Review and improve product categorization, naming conventions, and units of measure.
• Investigate data issues and coordinate root-cause analysis with teams.
• Use Excel and other tools to analyze large datasets and support reporting.
