Job summary

X4 Engineering in the Houston area is seeking a hands-on engineer to own product data integrity and manage engineering changes across a growing product line. This onsite role requires deep experience with mechanical design, BOM structures, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead the end-to-end ECR process for complex assemblies, ensure CAD data accuracy in the PDM system, and work with manufacturing, IT, and suppliers to keep data clean and aligned with ERP integrations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree.
• 5–7+ years as product design engineer or CM lead rooted in mechanical product.
• Experience with CAD data and BOM in PDM systems.
• Experience validating released items and BOM data for external system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering change process for complex assemblies and multi-level BOMs.
• Act as technical owner for CAD data structure and release in the PDM environment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to keep released engineering data clean and accurate.
• Validate BOM and item data for external system and ERP integrations.
