Job summary

The Walt Disney Company seeks a Product Software Engineer I to advance data engineering at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. The role spans software engineering, ML, and data science to power scalable data-driven features across Disney’s platforms.

You will work within the Product & Data Engineering team, focusing on instrumentation, analytics, and data-informed decisions to improve product experiences and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar big data tools.
• Ability to write and maintain reliable code in SQL, Python, Scala, or other languages.
• 1–2 years of software engineering, ML or data science experience.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end data lifecycle: client events to backend processing.
• Experience leveraging ML-driven automation to build internal tooling and observability.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and platforms and integrating AI products.
