Job summary

Trane Commercial Systems is seeking a data-focused professional to manage product data, pricing, and configuration rules. You will support field sales software and tools used to price, propose, and order equipment, while overseeing BOMs across systems.

The role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate design and manufacturing requirements into practical tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with product data management and configuration management.
• Strong data visualization and analytics capabilities.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and graphic systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in a technical engineering team and cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and test product data, pricing, rules, and notes for products in the Unitary portfolio.
• Support software used by field sales organizations and external customers to select Trane Commercial Systems equipment.
• Support tools used by commercial sales offices to price equipment, generate proposals and submittals, and order Trane equipment.
• Oversee implementation, maintenance, and auditing of configuration management and bills of materials across multiple systems.
• Convert requirements from design, engineering, product support, and manufacturing into supporting tools and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported data and application issues.
• Review personal and colleagues’ work to ensure accurate and reliable data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain analytic workflows and data visualizations.
