Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a Product Data and Compliance Systems Specialist in Wisconsin to maintain data integrity, manage engineering change control, and oversee regulatory documentation for Leer products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5+ years of experience in product data management, engineering coordination, regulatory documentation, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP, PDM, or PLM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional processes and enforce discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Product Data and Configuration Control across ERP, PDM and related systems.
• Maintain multi-level BOMs, part structures, product configurations, and data standards.
• Ensure engineering documentation and manufacturing data remain accurate and aligned.
• Maintain product data architecture standards enabling a single source of truth.
• Administer Engineering Change Management processes, including ECR/ECO workflows and releases.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews with engineering, operations, supply chain, and compliance.
• Evaluate downstream impacts of changes on BOM accuracy, compliance, inventory, and readiness.
• Ensure approved changes are implemented in ERP, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
• Improve change management processes to reduce errors and cycle time.
