Job summary

DIRECTV seeks a summer intern for its Customer Operations organization to work with the Engineering team on the Product Customer Experience Lab in El Segundo, CA. You will gain hands-on experience implementing software updates, researching issues, and investigating system gaps, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days on-site per week and flexibility for remote work.

Eligibility: must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future; duration is 10 weeks with dates 6/7–8/13/27 or

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
Solid general technical knowledge and ability to learn new tools quickly.
Strong technical acumen with analytical problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with DIRECTV products and services.
Engineering-focused mindset with attention to detail and innovation.
Coding experience across a broad range of programming languages.
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a virtual or remote environment.
Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging with leadership.
(Desired) Exposure to artificial intelligence technologies, particularly computer vision, is a strong plus
