Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an attorney to apply employment law and product counseling to HR Apps, acting as the embedded legal partner for our HR products. You will help build compliant, scalable solutions for small businesses and their employees.

You will provide day-to-day legal support to HR Apps product and engineering teams, develop compliance resources, and use AI tools to accelerate research while collaborating across product, engineering, and operations."

Qualifications

5+ years of legal experience, including in-house at a tech company.
Deep understanding of employment law and litigation.
Experience providing pragmatic legal guidance on employment obligations and building durable compliance resources.
Experience using AI tools to deliver efficiency in your work and in processes.

Responsibilities

Provide tactical legal support to HR Apps product, engineering, and operations teams for a broad portfolio of HR products including handbooks, posters, onboarding and leaves.
Review product requirements and identify compliance and regulatory risks early in development and across the lifecycle.
Identify, prioritize, and develop HR Apps-related compliance artifacts for the compliance hub.
Build AI-driven workflows, self-help checklists, playbooks, and structured frameworks to drive efficiency and reduce risk.
Research regulatory areas impacting HR Apps offerings and monitor changes for impact.
Help resolve day-to-day customer escalations and legal questions relating to HR Apps products.
Support vendor review, onboarding, partner integrations, and drafting/ revision of terms.
