Job summary

The Moret Group in New York, NY is seeking a pricing professional to compile and maintain product costing for each season, and to calculate margins and sell prices for the sales team.

You will create and maintain pricing libraries, keep the AMT system current, and work with management to negotiate prices with factories.

Strong Excel and math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with excel speadsheets and ability to work on several projects with different deadlines.
• Good computer and math skills a must.
• Good reading and writing skills with attention to details.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time.
• Product costing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain product costing for each season.
• Calculate margins, sell price and percentages to work with management for our sales team's use.
• Create and maintain pricing library.
• Maintain our AMT system up to date once pricing has been finalized.
• Work with manager to negotiate prices with factories.
• Request and maintain costing for all products.
• Prepare cost sheets for all accounts to review and work with management to then retrun to sales team.
• Keep line sheets up to date with pricing and MOQ.
• Create and maintain pricing library by factory.
• Maintain pricing files by factory and account up to date.
• Communicate with overseas factories on pricing and review pricing issues as needed to provide VP complete details.
• Comminucate with Sales Team on pricing needs.
