Job summary

The Moret Group in New York is seeking an organized, detail-oriented production coordinator to manage garment orders. You will set style numbers, create POs, and liaise with design, sales, and traffic to ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor time-and-action charts, follow up with overseas factories, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining cost and quality standards. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Very detail-oriented, flexible and able to multi-task.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a fast paced environment.
• Working knowledge of garment construction, patterns, processes and testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up style numbers and create purchase orders in AMT system.
• Handle daily correspondence with factories; liaison with design, sales and traffic as needed.
• Oversee all time and action and production WIP charts with production team members.
• Follow up with overseas factories to ensure execution of all production orders.
• Responsible for on-time deliveries of bulk orders and timely communication with sales with any delivery updates.
• Coordinate with traffic and accounting to ensure release and goods arrive on time
• Approve/comment on shipping marks, packaging layouts etc.
• Create cost charts to review with department head for relevancy and desired margin.
• Review, check and comment on samples for spec and quality.
