Job summary

Vertiv in Delaware, OH (onsite) is seeking a Product Cost Manager to drive cost reductions for the Racks product line. You will analyze costs, evaluate sourcing strategies, and present executive-level insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; electrical or mechanical preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in product cost, product management, engineering, supply chain or manufacturing.
• Experience with new product development processes is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, data analysis and project management skills.
• Ability to present insights and recommendations with data support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive product cost improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop cost benchmarks across locations and suppliers.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on cost targets and drivers.
• Monitor costs through NPDI and product lifecycle to act on variances.
• Pursue continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and quality.
