Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Strategy & Operations Lead to shape global footprint, capacity planning, and capital investment strategy across multiple product lines. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure scalable, cost-effective manufacturing aligned with long-term growth.

The role requires 7–10 years in manufacturing operations/industrial engineering, strong PM and leadership skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Strategy & Global Footprint Optimization: Evaluate footprint strategies considering cost, geopolitical risk, technology enablement, supply chain resiliency, and customer proximity.
• Capacity Planning & CAPEX Management: Conduct capacity modeling, scenario planning, and throughput analysis for multiple product lines; lead CAPEX planning and justification for manufacturing investments.
• Scalability & Industrial Engineering: Apply IE principles to drive efficiency, throughput, and continuous improvement; promote scalable processes and digital factory concepts.
• Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance; manage stakeholders up to executive level.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage MES/ERP data to drive strategic planning and develop capacity/cost models.
