Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Product Cost Controller for the Roseville, CA site to own product costing, forecasting, and analysis. You will partner with manufacturing and engineering to identify cost drivers and improvements, while leveraging SAP R/3 for detailed cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process owner for product cost calculations at the Roseville plant; implementing this new process at Roseville plant and ensuring compliance with Bosch corporate calculation standards
• Perform business plan and long-term business case product cost calculations, including validation of master data, routings, BOMs, activity rates, and cost allocation methodologies
• Execute detailed variance analysis versus plan, understand root causes, drive corrective actions, and highlight risks and opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and engineering to understand key cost drivers and opportunities for cost improvement
• Work independently in the SAP R/3 CO-module
• Prepare financial presentations and support financial reviews for local executive management
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process in the finance area
