Job summary

Bosch Group is seeking a Product Cost Controller to join the Roseville, CA finance team. The role focuses on product costing, forecasting, and cost analysis, partnering with manufacturing and engineering to drive cost improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance and at least 3 years of operations experience, with advanced SAP R/3 CO skills and strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency. On-site role in Roseville, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with specialization in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an operations environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Advanced SAP/R3 skills; ideally with experience in the SAP R/3 CO module.

Responsibilities

• Process owner for product cost calculations at the Roseville plant; implement the new process and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Perform business plan and long-term product cost calculations, including validation of master data, routings, BOMs, activity rates, and cost allocation methods.
• Execute detailed variance analysis versus plan, identify root causes, drive corrective actions, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to understand key cost drivers and opportunities for cost improvement.
• Work independently in the SAP R/3 CO module and prepare financial presentations for executive management.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the finance area.
