Job Title: Product Coordinator
Job Description
The Product Coordinator supports customers and sales teams within an industrial products environment by managing order processing, inventory inquiries, product information, and ERP-based workflows. This role is best suited for someone with experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or industrial product customers in a fast-paced business-to-business setting.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and emails from customers regarding products, product availability, order placement, and order status.
- Process customer orders received directly from customers and from outside sales representatives, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Research parts for customers by collaborating with part manufacturers and internal resources to provide accurate information and options.
- Analyze technical data, specifications, and product information to recommend correct parts and solutions to customers.
- Handle a variety of customer inquiries each day, managing an average of 5-20 calls while prioritizing email communication as the primary channel.
- Enter and process customer orders accurately, including capturing and processing customer payment information in a secure and timely manner.
- Provide order status updates to customers and proactively communicate any changes or delays.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse partners to verify inventory, coordinate order fulfillment, and resolve order-related issues.
- Work within SAP to document customer interactions, track orders, and maintain accurate records throughout the order lifecycle.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, daily to manage data, track orders, and support reporting and administrative tasks.
- Support inside sales activities by assisting with order entry, invoicing, and customer follow-up as needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly, professionally, and accurately to all customer requests.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales support, product coordination, or sales support experience within industrial distribution, manufacturing, industrial products, equipment, parts, or supply chain environments.
- Experience working within an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or a proprietary system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including filtering, sorting, searching records, managing multiple worksheets, and maintaining customer and order-related data.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, order processing, and documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical data and product specifications to support customers in selecting appropriate parts.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and orders simultaneously.
- Ability to manage a high volume of customer requests, order changes, inventory inquiries, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Comfort working in a structured, fully in-office schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- SAP experience is preferred and considered a strong asset.
- Prior experience working with industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or product-based organizations is strongly preferred and will be given priority consideration.
- Experience supporting inside sales functions, including order entry and invoicing.
- Experience in technical customer service within a product-driven or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with working closely with warehouses or logistics teams to verify inventory and coordinate shipments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small office environment and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Work Environment
This position is based in a small office and cubicle setting with a team of approximately
