Job summary

Phillips 66 Company seeks an Advisor II, Product Control to independently handle daily and monthly product control activities while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely P&L reporting. You will work with Trading, Front Office, Operations, Risk, FP&A, and Accounting to investigate variances and drive process improvements.

You’ll apply knowledge of commodity valuation and trade lifecycles, support month-end close, and mentor junior analysts as you expand cross-functional capabilities within

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in product control, middle office, finance or accounting.
• Advanced Excel and intermediate PowerBI proficiency are expected.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and communication abilities to explain financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely exposure and P&L reporting for assigned books with increasing independence.
• Execute daily/monthly product control tasks, investigate variances and provide insights.
• Interpret data, challenge assumptions, and resolve issues with stakeholders across functions.
• Support month-end close and GAAP processes with proper controls and audits.
