Job description

About Paxos

Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like Mastercard, Visa, Robinhood, and PayPal.

The Team

Our Compliance team is a cornerstone of Paxos’ trusted, regulated infrastructure, ensuring we meet the highest standards of oversight while enabling responsible innovation. The team combines deep regulatory expertise with a practical understanding of blockchain and financial markets to design and run robust, scalable compliance programs. We partner closely with business and product teams to build solutions that protect our customers and our company, while supporting sustainable growth across both traditional and digital asset environments

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of Compliance's internal tools and operational processes. You’ll partner closely with Compliance SMEs, Product, Engineering, Data, and third-party vendors to translate compliance requirements into well-defined technology solutions that are delivered on schedule, thoroughly tested, and successfully adopted by the Compliance team. In addition, you’ll drive initiatives that strengthen Compliance operations, including AI enablement, vendor management, KPI and operational reporting, resource planning, process improvements, training, and change management to help the team scale effectively.

 • Lead implementation and adoption of new Compliance tools, including communications, training, documentation, and change management.

 • Identify opportunities to improve Compliance processes through automation, AI, and workflow enhancements.

 • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reporting, and materials for weekly operational reviews and leadership reporting.

 • Coordinate resource planning, project tracking, and dependencies across Compliance initiatives.

 • Support regulatory exams, audits, and issue remediation efforts by maintaining accurate implementation documentation and evidence.
