Compliance Investigations Manager

Job summary

Paxos is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Compliance Investigations program, scale the investigations team to support growing operations, and uphold a culture of accountability and continuous learning across Compliance Operations.

In this role you will develop and manage key metrics, spearhead end-to-end investigations triggered by KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics, and act as a senior partner guiding other workstreams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Transaction Monitoring and Investigations operations, including hands-on investigation execution and SAR drafting.
• 4+ years of financial crime compliance team management experience.
• Fundamental understanding of AML, KYC and Sanctions regulations.
• Strong writing capabilities for regulators, audits, and law enforcement.
• Experience managing operational data sets and reporting KPIs/KRIs to leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to implement process improvements based on business initiatives and compliance insights.

About You

• Strong writing capabilities where deliverables are to be reviewed by regulators, auditors and law enforcement
• Experience managing operational data sets including reporting KPIs/KRIs to leadership
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to develop and implement process improvements based on business initiatives and compliance insights.
