Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Analyst to own compliance strategy for the Products segment, prioritizing high-risk use cases and partnering with product, legal, and sales to ensure regulatory adherence. You will drive compliance by design, oversee investigations, and collaborate with Risk’s Assurance Hub to translate signals into actionable mitigations.

You will mentor junior staff, leverage AI tools for better monitoring, and contribute to a growing coverage model within the LR&C program,

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of business, legal, or compliance experience.
• Solid working knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to enterprise and corporate customers.
• Proven experience with Compliance by Design methodologies and early-stage product governance.
• Comfort helping define a coverage model rather than only executing an established one.
• Advanced experience implementing and leveraging AI tools, automation platforms, and data analytics in compliance functions.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment on complex compliance issues.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills; independent work capability.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365, SAP, and Salesforce; familiarity with data viz tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Policy, Regulatory Studies, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own compliance strategy and execution for the Products segment, prioritizing high-risk products and use cases.
• Conduct misuse investigations, use-case vetting, and customer reviews within the Products segment.
• Partner with product, legal, sales, and segment leadership on regulatory obligations and third-party requirements.
• Support Compliance by Design work with product and engineering teams from inception.
• Contribute segment-level insight to Risk’s Assurance Hub with root-cause analysis and mitigation plans.
• Leverage AI tools and analytics to strengthen monitoring and reporting.
• Lead execution of compliance policies from design through implementation; manage third-party and internal audit requests.
• Support compliance training and employee communications.
