Job summary

Vercel is seeking an experienced communications leader to own external storytelling for the Agent Stack, Core Platform, and open source projects like Next.js. You will translate shipped features into narratives for developers, press, and the market, and oversee communications for Vercel's OSS portfolio.

You will report to the Head of Communications, be based in SF with anchor office days, and craft content that engages both commercial and developer audiences while elevating Vercel's tech

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing, with direct exposure to developer tools, infrastructure, or technical products.
• Strong writer and storyteller who can translate technical work—product or open source—into narratives that resonate with developers and the market.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers, PMs, and technical leadership, and able to pull a story out of people who don’t think of themselves as storytellers.
• Experience managing multichannel, cross‑functional programs for developer audiences.
• Self‐directed and comfortable owning a program end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own external comms for product announcements across the Agent Stack and Core Platform, including v0, Vercel Agent, Vercel Plugin, and Domains.
• Oversee communications for Vercel's open source frameworks, with emphasis on Next.js and other projects for native developer communities.
• Build thought leadership narratives about how Vercel's products fit together in the infrastructure and framework landscape.
• Develop owned and social content in partnership with Content Engineering for commercial and developer audiences.
