Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a communications lead to own external storytelling for the Agent Stack, Core Platform, and OSS projects like Next.js and v0. You’ll translate complex tech into narratives for developers, press, and the market.

You’ll work with Communications leadership, Product, DX Engineering, and Content Engineering to ensure timely, contextual messaging for the right audience at the right moment. The role is based in SF with anchor days Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing with exposure to developer tools or technical products.
• Strong writer and storyteller able to translate technical work into developer-market narratives.
• Comfortable working with engineers, PMs, and technical leadership and extracting stories from non-storytellers.
• Experience managing multi-channel, cross-functional programs targeted at developer audiences.
• Familiarity with frontend/JavaScript ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Self-directed and capable of owning a program end-to-end in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own external product storytelling for the Agent Stack, Core Platform, and OSS projects like Next.js and v0.
• Oversee communications for the company’s open source portfolio with a native developer voice.
• Build narratives that show how products fit together in the broader infrastructure landscape.
• Create owned and social content and campaigns with Content Engineering for commercial and developer audiences.
• Support open source community initiatives through amplification and timely storytelling.
• Collaborate with DX Engineering’s community team for events and conference participation.
• Develop and elevate the public thought leadership profiles of leadership and maintainers.
