Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco seeks a communications professional to join our Product Communications team and lead external storytelling for Claude-related product work. You will own messaging for feature updates end to end and support model launches and flagship product launches.

You should be highly online, a clear, concise writer across formats, and able to translate Claude’s capabilities into narratives for developers, customers, journalists and creators.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in communications or PR with AI company, research lab, or technical product company.
• Clear, concise writer across formats — press materials, messaging, briefing docs.
• Strong judgment to read timing and tone when AI conversations get noisy.

Responsibilities

• Own communications for feature updates and launches end to end, and provide support on model launches and flagship product launches.
• Help surface launches, demos, and capability stories, and determine the right channel for each.
• Develop messaging and draft materials — press releases, talking points, FAQs, blog posts, briefing docs.
• Support relationships with journalists, newsletter writers, podcasters, and creators shaping AI coverage.
• Prepare product and research leaders to be effective spokespeople.
• Work across press, social, owned, and community channels to choose the right lever for each moment.
