Markham Landscape Products Inc. is a family-owned and operated landscape materials supply company serving the Carolinas. Since 1996, we have grown to four locations, providing top-quality landscape products such as pavers, wall blocks, natural stone, aggregates, mulches, and soils to both contractors and retail customers. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our Artificial Turf and Travertine product categories. This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating replenishment to keep inventory at established par levels. This role will also be responsible for working with our vendors to ensure we’re getting high quality products at the best available prices. Working with our sales team to ensure they are always up to date on our product mix and availability will be key as well.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a wide variety of people, is looking for a casual but professional work environment, and takes ownership of keeping operations running smoothly. This candidate will be asked to occasionally work on Saturdays during the Spring/Summer months to assist with sales. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and coordinate customer orders for artificial turf and travertine products.
• Verify product availability and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel and delivery teams to ensure timely shipments.
• Communicate with sales staff regarding order status, inventory availability, and fulfillment timelines.
• Resolve order discrepancies and inventory-related issues as they arise.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records for all artificial turf and travertine products.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure system accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain established par levels for all products.
• Identify low-stock items and initiate replenishment orders.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
• Properly label products to ensure visibility for sales staff.
• Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and product demand.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with vendors and suppliers.
• Track incoming shipments and ensure timely receipt of inventory.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support inventory availability.

Operations

• Track key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.
• Recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, operations, logistics, purchasing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience using inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in building materials, landscaping products, hardscapes, or construction-related industries is a plus.
