Job description

Gradial helps marketers and creatives move from idea to execution faster. Our platform turns intent into action, automating website updates, design system migrations, and ongoing content optimization while preserving brand integrity across every touchpoint.

Backed by leading investors, we’re building software that adapts to the user, not the other way around. We move with urgency, operate with ownership, and solve hard problems from first principles. If you want to do ambitious work, take real responsibility, and help define the future of AI-native content operations, you’ll do your best work here.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Builder to create the trust and governance layer for AI agents. As autonomous systems become more capable, organizations need products that make AI behavior understandable, observable, and controllable without slowing teams down. You’ll build the systems, workflows, and experiences that help customers confidently deploy AI at scale.

This role owns the product end‑to‑end, from identifying governance challenges to launching solutions that customers willingly adopt. You’ll work across enterprise customers, engineering, leadership, product, and go‑to‑market teams to make AI systems more transparent, accountable, and operationally reliable.

What You’ll Own
  • Build products that provide visibility, governance, and control for AI‑powered agents and workflows.
  • Design approval flows, audit trails, and operational guardrails that balance speed with responsible AI usage.
  • Create observability experiences that help customers understand how AI systems behave and perform over time.
  • Build workflows that enable human review and intervention at critical moments without introducing unnecessary friction.
  • Partner with customers to understand governance requirements and translate them into intuitive product experiences.
  • Develop capabilities that improve traceability, accountability, model evaluation, and operational confidence.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and AI teams to bring governance capabilities into production environments.
  • Make complex AI behavior understandable for business stakeholders through dashboards, reporting, and product experiences.
  • Drive product strategy and execution across the full lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration.
What We Need
  • 5+ years of experience building and launching software products in product management, product leadership, product engineering, or similar builder‑focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI systems, large language models, agent architectures, and the operational challenges of deploying AI in production.
  • Demonstrated ability to own products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity and making effective product decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to prototype concepts independently using AI‑powered development tools and modern product‑building workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance user experience, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and translating complex technical concepts into customer‑facing products.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholder groups.
  • Passion for building trusted AI systems and shaping how organizations safely adopt autonomous technology.
  • Excitement for defining a new category of AI‑native software.
Nice to Have
  • Experience building products related to governance, observability, compliance, security, risk management, or enterprise administration.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, model monitoring, lineage tracking, auditability, or AI operational tooling.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers deploying AI systems at scale.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $220,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for performance‑based bonuses and equity awards.

Gradial offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, paid sick leave and other employee wellness programs.

You'll Thrive Here If You...
  • Embrace AI as a core tool for problem‑solving, creativity and scale.
  • Show a strong work ethic, high ownership and bias toward action.
  • Communicate with clarity and curiosity.
  • Thrive in fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environments; where building is always better than maintaining the status quo.
What We Offer
  • Meaningful equity and competitive salary
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage
  • Fast‑paced environment with autonomy and ownership
  • Real impact, zero bureaucracy
  • A front‑row seat to building category‑defining AI infrastructure
AI Literacy & Interviewing Tools

As an AI‑first company, we prioritize AI literacy as a core competency in our hiring decisions. We’re excited by candidates who thoughtfully apply AI tools in their work, but during interviews we’re focused on you. This is your opportunity to show how you think, communicate, and solve problems. Over‑reliance on AI‑generated responses during the interview process (especially when it obscures your own voice) will result in disqualification. We want to understand your unique perspective and how you approach challenges, both with and without AI.
