American Products is hiring a Product Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.

Assemblers play a critical role in ensuring products are built to quality standards and shipped defect-free to customers. Work on an on-site, full-time schedule with a Tuesday-Friday shift from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble metal and plastic products using air tools, battery-powered tools, and hand tools.
  • Work on assigned assembly line stations; rotate stations as needed per supervisor direction.
  • Package finished products, including boxing, palletizing, and wrapping.
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
  • Inspect parts and completed products to identify defects or quality issues.
  • Test finished products to ensure proper function.
  • Maintain tools and keep workstations clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

What You'll Do

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Use hands for fine motor tasks such as gripping, handling, and assembling
  • Reach, crouch, kneel, talk, and hear as required
  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
