Job summary

American Family Insurance in Madison, WI is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern in the Product & Alliance Department. You will assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives and support senior staff on business projects.

Under supervision you will develop an understanding of the organization’s environment, present results to management, perform analytical work, and contribute to new ideas and procedures within a team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
• Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.
• Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
• Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management.
• May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles.
• Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
• Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.
