American Family Insurance invites you to a Summer 2027 Actuarial Science Internship. This 10–14 week program runs mid to late May through August, with a hybrid schedule in Madison, WI or Boston, MA.

Interns will work on pricing, reserving and modeling tasks, and will receive mentorship across actuarial teams to broaden experience. Qualifications include active student status at an accredited four-year college, pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD, and proficiency in Excel and data analysis

Our summer student internship is a 10 - 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August. During your internship, you’ll work on similar projects to our full-time employees that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to an American Family office. Compensation Minimum: $25.00 Compensation Maximum: $39.00Our actuarial interns also gain exposure to different areas of our business.
