Client: Boeing contract assignment note: this posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
This posting is for an on-site role based in North Charleston, South Carolina. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Physical requirements: none specified. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results.
- Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
- Supports inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statements most of the time.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
- Conducts product reviews with customer during product or process verification.
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
- Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.
- 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES.
- Composite fabrication experience.
- Structural work experience (wing work).
- Wiring.
- Production testing experience.
- 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- A&P License.
- Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis.
- Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool-assisted inspection methods.
- Experience in a team environment.
- Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
- 787 Program Experience.

Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.
5-6 weeks of training.
