Luma Creative LLC is seeking a remote Producer to drive projects from the first client conversation to final delivery. This hands-on role includes bidding, discovery calls, and co-producing shoots with the owner, with growth toward independent production management.
The ideal candidate shows extreme attention to detail, self-direction, and strong client communication. Bay Area travel for scouts/shoots is occasional; remote-first work is the norm.
Luma Creative and Westwave AV are two sister companies working across film production and audiovisual event work. Our core is film — client shoots, branded content, and creative projects — with AV event work alongside it. We're a small, fast-moving shop where the person in this seat has real ownership and a direct line to the work that wins and delivers jobs.
We're hiring a remote Producer (except scouts/shoots) to help run our projects from the first client conversation to final delivery. This is a hands-on producing role: you'll bid jobs, take discovery calls, produce shoots alongside the owner, and grow into running productions on your own. It's built for someone who wants ownership, not just tasks — the kind of person who can be handed a project and drive it forward.
This job lives and dies on attention to detail and self-direction. A wrong number in a bid, a missed detail on a call sheet, a client follow-up that slips — small misses cost real money and trust in this seat. We need someone meticulous, organized, and driven, who catches problems before they happen and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
No deep AV background is required — the film side is the core, and you can learn the AV event side as you go. What matters most is that you're sharp, dependable, and genuinely good with clients.
This is a remote-first role (~95%). Most of the work — bidding, coordination, client calls, producing — happens from your desk, with occasional in-person time for scouts and shoots roughly twice a month around the Bay Area.
