Job summary

MakeMarks, part of PropelisGroup, seeks a Producer for its Content Studio in North America. Hybrid or remote from North America welcomed. You will own production and post-production workflows, collaborating with Creatives, CGI Artists, Photographers, Retouchers, and Filmmakers to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a CGI-led studio, preferably with brand or packaging focus.
• Experience with pre/post-production and shooting video content.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Ability to draft and review SOWs and identify project risks.
• Ability to draft indicative budgets early in concept stages.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Shotgrid, Jira, Trello or similar tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to establish best practices.

Responsibilities

• Budget, estimate, schedule, and manage production across multiple brands.
• Oversee day-to-day production in a CGI-led studio.
• Communicate with clients and client services to manage expectations.
• Identify and communicate resource requirements clearly and timely.
• Collaborate with global studios to resolve capacity challenges.

We are currently seeking a Producer to join our Content Studio team in North America. We are happy for this to be either a hybrid role or remote from anywherein North America.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with solid experience in a CGI-led agency environment to step up into a new role. This will include working closely with Creatives, CGI Artists, Photographers,Retouchers& Film Makers to take ownership of all aspects of production & post-production processes. Along with the opportunity to develop your producer skills, this role offers great opportunities for career progression as the Content Studio expands and evolves.

More importantly than any of the above, you will of course be a team player, who enjoys collaborating to get things done. Our hybrid working model strikes a balance between flexibility and enabling you to collaborate with your creative design and production colleagues in a supportive and nurturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Budget, estimate, schedule, and manage production across several concurrent brands and projects
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day production in a CGI-led studio environment
• Proactively communicate and manage expectation with clients and client service teams around all aspects of production and project delivery
• Identifyand clearly communicate project resource requirements in a consistent,accurateandtimelymanner
• Work with Resource Managers and Producers in other global studio locations to proactively solve capacity challenges
• Forecast, request, book, and on-board freelance resource, when necessary
• Negotiate costings with external providers, ensuring their costs align to budgets and expectation
• Manage all aspects of project documentation management, including estimates, PO’s, NDA’s, MSA’s etc.
• Manage multiple third-party supplier relationships

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Experience gained within a CGI-led studio environment, ideally within a brand or packaging-centric agency
• Experience of pre/post-production & shooting of video content would be highlyadvantageous
• Experience leaning in and working with clients directly
• The ability to craft and review SOWs with experience in accuratelyidentifyingproject risks
• Ability to quickly and effectively draft indicative project budgets in advance of concept approval
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct a team while promoting a positive morale in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
• Proficiencyin project management tools such asShotgrid, Jira, Trello etc
• A point of view on the tools required by teams to ensure consistency in best practice for production management – what to use when, and why
• Ability to manage, coach and lead teams of production artists and direct reports
• Ability to outline and develop best practices and processes – a leader, not a follower
• 4-6 ofyears of experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,000 USD - $75,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
