Job summary

Diaz Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated Insurance Producer to join our growing team in California. You will build relationships, prospect for new business, and provide excellent client service.

You will identify client needs, present quotes, and work with the service team to ensure a smooth transition from new business to ongoing account management. A California Property & Casualty license is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or sales is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and follow-up.
• Identify client insurance needs and recommend coverage options.
• Prepare and present quotes to prospective customers.
• Follow up consistently with leads to close new business.
• Cross-sell and upsell insurance products when appropriate.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, quotes, and sales activity.
• Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
• Stay knowledgeable about products, underwriting, and industry changes.
• Collaborate with the service team for smooth transitions from sales to account management.
• Represent the agency professionally in all client interactions.

• Identify client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
• Prepare and present insurance quotes to prospective customers.
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to close new business.
• Cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products when appropriate.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Requirements

• California Property & Casualty insurance license preferred. Candidates willing to obtain their license may also be considered.
• Previous insurance or sales experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
