Job summary

Western Midstream in Carlsbad, NM, is seeking a full-time Foreman to lead produced-water and recycled-water assets. You will supervise field personnel, coordinate daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support reliability of gathering, storage, recycling, distribution, and disposal facilities.

You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Instrumentation and Electrical, Engineering, HSE, Commercial, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Five years in produced-water, recycled-water, midstream, oil and gas, or related operations.
• One to two years in a lead, supervisory, or operational leadership role.
• Working knowledge of produced-water gathering, transportation, storage, recycling, distribution, and disposal operations.
• Familiarity with pipelines, pumps, tanks, disposal facilities, valves, controls, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, P&IDs, drawings, and equipment documentation.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop Operators and other personnel.
• Plan and assign daily work activities with staffing coverage.
• Conduct safety meetings and shift handoffs.
• Oversee daily operation of produced-water systems.
• Monitor pressures, flow, tank levels, pump performance, and asset reliability.
• Coordinate startups, shutdowns, changes, and emergencies.
• Coordinate maintenance with support groups.
• Maintain operational records and review schedules and training.
