Job summary

Western Midstream in Carlsbad, New Mexico is seeking a full-time Produced & Recycled Water Foreman to lead the safe, reliable operation of produced-water and recycled-water assets. You will supervise field personnel, coordinate daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support asset reliability across gathering, storage, recycling, distribution, and disposal facilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in produced-water, recycled-water, midstream, oil and gas, or related industrial operations.
  • Minimum of one to two years in a lead, supervisory, or operational leadership role.
  • Familiarity with produced-water gathering, transportation, storage, recycling, distribution and disposal operations.
  • Working knowledge of pipelines, pumps, tanks, disposal facilities, valves, controls, instrumentation, automation systems, and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, P&IDs, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with company policies and applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop Lead Operators, Operators, and other personnel.
  • Plan and assign daily work activities while maintaining staffing and coverage.
  • Coordinate facility startups, shutdowns, and operational changes.
  • Oversee the daily operation of produced-water systems and ensure asset reliability.
