Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking team members for the Produce department to assist with receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and maintaining attractive displays. The role supports WFM standards and requires friendly, efficient customer service.

You will participate in breaking down deliveries, stocking, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position offers flexible shifts and opportunities to learn about organic produce and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Willingness to learn about products and display standards.
• Ability to follow procedures for safety, weights & measures, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, restocking, and rotating products.
• Assists Team Leader with organizing displays and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensures proper signs and pricing; opens, mid, and closes duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
