Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. seeks an experienced team leader to assist the Team Leader in achieving store goals, merchandising, and labor targets. You will mentor Team Members, analyze sales data, and maintain strong vendor relationships while upholding health and safety standards.

This role requires 18+ months in retail with supervisory experience and a proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops / maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains good vendor relationships and ensures paperwork is submitted for vendor processing.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Directs Team Members to satisfy customers and respond to needs.
• Trains and counsels Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Communicates WFM vision and goals.
