Job summary

Essential duties include scheduling, training, ordering, vendor invoice verification, and enforcing health, safety, and quality standards to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage. Candidates should have strong leadership and a proven track record in produce operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over five years of Produce experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce team in managing and supervising the department, including scheduling and training.
• Verify produce vendor invoices and ensure product quality and quantity accuracy.
• Maintain inventory control to ensure freshness and turnover while minimizing shrinkage.
• Oversee merchandising plans to maximize profitability and meet customer demand.
• Ensure proper receiving, pricing, and restocking of merchandise displays.
• Follow sanitary procedures and maintain sweep logs.
