Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Produce Clerk to deliver prompt, courteous customer service while keeping the produce department well presented and organized. You will assist with inventory, stocking, and maintaining freshness across fruits and vegetables.

Ideal candidates have strong math and communication skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, and a willingness to learn on-the-job. The role requires weekend/evening availability and adherence to safety and display guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for receiving, pricing, and stocking to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Replenish fruits, vegetables, and other items as assigned.
• Move products for display and storage, including refrigerated storage boxes.
• Assist in inventory control to maintain freshness and turnover.
• Handle damaged/spoiled products per policy and control damaged goods level.
• Monitor expiration dates to ensure fresh products for customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive department and positive customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
