Job summary

No prior retail experience is required; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Wage range is $18.75–$25.40 per hour with Whole Benefits and store perks.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
