Job summary

Whole Foods Market in New Jersey is seeking a Produce Team Member to receive and prepare product, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers in line with WFM standards. You will stock shelves, assist with inventory, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

No retail experience required; strong teamwork and customer service are valued. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and familiarity with food safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves stocked and front-faced.
• Assists with organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to relevant leads.
• Completes worksheets for spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and adheres to trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in working/shopping areas.
• Reports safety hazards and follows procedures.
