Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving, preparing, stocking, and merchandising produce while upholding WFM standards of quality and service. Candidates help maintain the Produce floor, assist with displays, and ensure a fresh, inviting shopping experience for customers.

Training and flexible scheduling may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include safe handling, cleanliness, accurate pricing, and proactive customer

Qualifications

• Ability to learn product lines in produce and contribute to a clean, organized department.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases and shelves clean and well stocked with front-facing displays.
• Assist Team Leader in organizing displays and seasonal items.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and leads.
• Complete worksheets for spoilage, temperature, and sweep processes as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to phones promptly and courteously.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures (Weights & Measures).
• Open, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing and signs are accurate.
• Report safety hazards and assist with other duties as assigned.
