Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Melrose, MA is seeking a Produce Team Member to receive and prep product, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers in line with Whole Foods standards. You will stock shelves, rotate products, and support team leaders while ensuring food safety and sanitation.

No prior retail experience is required. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
