Job summary

Whole Foods Market Indianapolis is seeking a Receiving Associate to manage product deliveries and ensure accuracy in intake. You will process deliveries, verify invoices, and notify team members of arrivals.

Maintain backstock, coolers, and the receiving area, stock items, and ensure all refrigerated goods are properly stored and labeled.

This role requires standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, teamwork, and safe work practices; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of receiving procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Process deliveries in a timely manner with attention to detail.
• Maintain backstock area and cooler.
• Ensure receiving area is neat, organized and safe.
• Record time and document transfers and waste.
• Follow health and sanitation procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and know lifting techniques.
• Communicate with Team Members about receiving and department operations.
• Attend department and store meetings when scheduled.
