Job summary

Nature Fresh Farms is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector in our Laredo, TX facility to uphold product quality from greenhouse to warehouse. You will inspect, record, and report on fruit and vegetable quality, working closely with shipping, receiving, and production teams.

We value safety, accuracy, and collaboration; you will use QC One software to document observations, ensure compliance with customer specs, and help maintain food safety standards across all operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control is an asset.
• Reading, writing, and effective listening are essential.
• Must be available to work day/afternoon/continental shifts.
• Safety shoes are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Check quality of bins from greenhouse and quantity entering warehouse.
• Assess product specifications per customer requirements.
• Check and record specs: size, weight, width, length, color, imperfections.
• Inspect, record, and report quality of all commodities.
• Input observations using QC One and other software.
• Communicate findings in a timely manner.
• Prepare reports for Growers and Vendor inspectors.
• Ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.
