Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with produce experience to inspect inbound and outbound products at Tolleson warehouse. You will enforce standards, support receiving with weight validation, and monitor temperature guidelines and dates to ensure food safety compliance.

This role includes assisting receivers, notifying vendors of QC policies, and maintaining spoilage records while aligning with governmental regulations and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Inspect inbound and outbound product to enforce standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety policies through quality control procedures at receiving.
• Assist receivers with validation of weights and temperature guidelines; monitor sell and pack dates.
• Ensure compliance with governmental food safety policies and perform item specification checks and yield evaluations.
• Report distressed product and recap to management.
• Maintain records of product spoilage and recap to management.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company standards and specifications through inspection of product.
• Mitigate food safety risks by applying QC policies at receiving.
• Assist receivers with weight validation and adherence to temperature guidelines; monitor sell/pack dates.
• Ensure compliance with government policies; perform item specs and yield evaluations.
• Recommend disposition of distressed product to management.
• Keep records of spoilage and provide recap to management.
