Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English proficiency.
• Basic arithmetic in all units of measure (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).

Responsibilities

• Check product in slots daily to ensure shipping quality.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers and assist resolution to ensure high quality.
• Ensure proper product rotation and report rotation problems to stockers/supervisors.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage, warehouse/damage, and related issues.
• Greet internal and external customers to maintain service and efficiency.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused, and outbound product; document condition.
• Regularly update necessary parties on product quality status.
• Analyze and propose solutions to quality assurance problems.
• Follow all safety, sanitation rules and policies.
