Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector with produce experience to inspect inbound and outbound products at Tolleson warehouse. You will enforce standards, support receiving with weight validation, and monitor temperature guidelines and dates to ensure food safety compliance.

This role includes assisting receivers, notifying vendors of QC policies, and maintaining spoilage records while aligning with governmental regulations and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Inspect inbound and outbound product to enforce standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety policies through quality control procedures at receiving.
• Assist receivers with validation of weights and temperature guidelines; monitor sell and pack dates.
• Ensure compliance with governmental food safety policies and perform item specification checks and yield evaluations.
• Report distressed product and recap to management.
• Maintain records of product spoilage and recap to management.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company standards and specifications through inspection of product.

• Minimize food safety risk issues through enforcement of quality control policies and procedures at the point of receiving.
• Assist receivers with validation of receiving weights and compliance with temperature guidelines. Assist receivers with the enforcement of sell and pack dates policies. Notify and monitor vendor compliance of quality control policies.
• Ensure that Company is in compliance with all governmental policies and that regulations regarding food safety issues are met. Monitor quality through item specification checks and yield evaluations.
• Make recommendations to management for the disbursement of distressed product.
• Maintain records of product spoilage and recap to management.
