Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for our Produce department. You will enforce quality standards by inspecting inbound and outbound product to the warehouse and ensure compliance with company specifications.

Produce experience preferred; you will assist receivers with weights, temperatures, and sell/date policies, monitor vendor compliance, and maintain records of spoilage for management review. Shift details: 2AM–11AM.

Qualifications

Assist receivers with validation of receiving weights and compliance with temperature guidelines. Assist receivers with the enforcement of sell and pack dates policies. Notify and monitor vendor compliance of quality control policies.

Ensure that Company is in compliance with all governmental policies and that regulations regarding food safety issues are met. Monitor quality through item specification checks and yield evaluations.

Make recommendations to management for the disbursement of distressed product.

Maintain records of product spoilage and recap to management.
